First you  gather all the ingredients in no kind of order and   stick them into a bowl. Sprinkle some chocolate chips in the bowl,  Keep on mixing!  Put in the oven for 1 minute, then  bring out tray and  pour all of your mixture in the tray AND WALA!! Share it out to everyone and  experience   the best brilliant Christmas  ever!!!!!

Today in math we have been trying this new site called Matific.  One of the games I played today was called Spinning Tables the game is about filling in the missing times tables to complete the board. When you get a certain amount of points in the game you earn monster cards and that counts for stars to.

I really enjoy Matific and I want to keep Matific going instead of Matheletics.

Reflection About The Year

Reflecting about my year and my goals

This year we have done  lots of fun things like in Term One we went to year six camp to Hanmer Springs which was so fun.  We also did swimming  and done more learning.

Term Two we went  to Jelly Park and the Marae but  I didn't go because I was sick and in term three we had our really cool ski trip to Mt hutt and started a new maths interchange.

Term Three WE WENT SKIING!!!!!


Now it is Term 4 

Welcome back to TERM 4!!!! YAY      

I am so looking forward to new thing to learn and new things to do and more fun things to do with the whole school like when we went to Orana park.

1st: Try my hardest to keep learning  so I can  become a vet or a worker at a zoo.

This is my last year at this school which is sad This year has been the best year of the years I have been at Gilberthorpe even though I have only been at Gilberthorpe for 2 years because this is my second year at gilberthorpe. I am really going to miss this school :( with all the fun memories and the most most sad thing  is I'm leaving my bestie bestie behind  and the best teach ever.

Today in Rimu class We started  to plant mini plants from New World called Little Garden. When the week ends Rimu class get to take Their little garden Plants home. My mini plant is  cabbage. Look down below to see a photo with my mini plant.

My prediction about my plant will grow is in 6 or 7 days.
I will care for my plant  by giving it some sunshine and watering it every morning.:)

I think my  typing has helped Affected me that when I write I can imagine the words on my keyboard so that way I can type really fast.

Today we went to Pak N Save prt which was  prt 2 of  Food for Thought If you don't know what I'm talking about look at my old post. Anyway Today we went to Pak N Save and we filled out a sheet on what food is good and what food is bad but now I will show you the sheet we filled out. After we filled out we looked at all the food that was not healthy and food that was healthy. I would like to show you some interesting facts so here they are 1.Something surprising was that Uno yogurt is not actually that healthy.2.The outside of boxes can lie because there was one cereal box that I saw and it said good and healthy fr the hole family but when I turned it around the label said it had about  30.4g of sugar.
                                             

Since the trip I have learn't  alot like be careful when you are shopping for what food you get like cereal and muesli bars.My next step would be to read food labels and under stand how to read it properly.

Today We had a visit from a lady called Chloe.Chloe's job is  a nutritionist  so she comes around school and teaches kids what food is good and what drinks are good that has not to much sugar.So today she cam and taught us about Avg Qty per 100g so we did a graph about Avg Qty per 100g.so we did it about what cereals are good for you and not so look down below to see my graph.

Some things I learnt was 1.that kids should only have 5 teaspoons a  day of sugar or less. 2.One interesting fact is that the energy drink E2 has 20 tea spoons of sugar Wow I know right and lots of energy drink has lots of sugar in them so if I was u I would avoid energy drinks  3. You should always read the labels at back of your food when you buy it to see if it's healthy or not for you.

I think I did pretty good in my task because I got into my work and listened.

My next step would be to learn more about reading labels.

      I like my story because I feel that I have done a good job on my writing by using onomatopoeia. My next step would be to use more interesting vocabulary.
